London-based fund manager Rathbone Unit Trust Management is looking to expand its multi-asset range with another product for David Coombs to appeal to the at-retirement market, Investment Week reports. The new multi-asset income fund, currently in the concept stage, will be an income-focused vehicle aiming at the self invested personal pension drawdown market and is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2012.
The U.K. firm has already rolled out two multi-asset products for Coombs in 2011, the Rathbone Enhanced Growth Fund in July and the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund in October, co-managed with Bryn Jones. Coombs already manages a trio of multi-asset products.
