Baring Asset Management has appointed Clive Burstow as director and resources investment manager for its global energy and materials team. Burstow, who has formerly worked as an analyst with the investment firm, will now work under head of global energy and materials Jonathan Blake. He will be responsible for the production of research and stock ideas and will help manage the Barings Global Resources Fund. Prior to this, he served at Blackrock as vice president for analysis and investment across the mining sector.
