Paul Kuo will be stepping down as international financial services group Credit Suisse’s CEO in Japan on January 1, Business Week reports. Olivier Thiriet, head of Asia-Pacific cash equities will succeed Kuo. He will manage Credit Suisse’s business in Japan, comprising private banking, investment banking and asset management
Kuo who has been with the company for nearly 18 years will stay with the bank till April-end assisting in the management’s transition. Taiji Okusu, head of investment banking at Credit Suisse in Japan had left the firm last month. Credit Suisse is Switzerland’s second-largest bank.
