Eden Financial is rolling out a global equity income fund later this year, FundWeb reports. The CF Eden global multi-strategy fund will be plain vanilla, investing in a portfolio of global equities.
Dan Roberts, a former Gartmore manager, and Mark Harris, a former head of fund-of-funds at Henderson Global Investors, will jointly run the fund and develop the company’s multi-asset offering. The product’s portfolio will invest 35 percent in U.S. stocks, “as much as” 20 percent in the U.K., 20 percent in Europe ex-U.K., 10 percent to 15 percent in Japan and the remaining in other countries, including emerging markets.
