M&G Investments is seeking to combine two of its U.K. equity income portfolios, FundWeb reports. The £208 million M&G Income fund and the £521 million M&G Dividend fund will be wrapped up into one larger portfolio.

The new fund, which is subject to shareholder approval, will be merged in mid-August. The merger will allow the firm to avoid the unnecessary duplication of constructing two portfolios.
