The U.K. Financial Services Authority (FSA) has started an evaluation into credit risk management by central counterparties (CCPs), Financial Times reports. The review follows the financial crisis and the substantial change occurring in the clearing market.
The review will target risk management governance and CCR control framework. It will also evaluate initial margin models, variation margin calculation, default funds, wrong way risk and concentration risk, collateral and validation and back-testing.
