OSRAM is buying Germany’s Siteco Lighting from Barclays Private Equity (BPE), the private equity division of Barclays Capital. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed by any of the parties. Siteco manufactures and supplies technical interior and exterior lighting, operating out of production sites in Germany and China, adds AltAssets. In 2007, BPE acquired Siteco as part of a management buy-out from CCMP Capital Partners.
