Sidera Networks, a provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, is now offering low-latency connectivity for CME Group. The derivatives marketplace will leverage Sidera’s high-capacity, high-availability network for low-latency connectivity from its data center in Aurora to its downtown Chicago facility. Sidera and CME have designed a low-latency route between Chicago to Aurora to provide a direct connection to this new facility. The move will support CME Group’s Bulk Transport service with a point-to-point Ethernet service configured over its private optical network. Through Sidera’s innovative Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer solution, CME will get access to a network to deliver services to its member firms more quickly.
