Argentina has secured a $3.5 billion loan from lenders.

Argentina has secured a $3.5 billion loan from lenders, Bloomberg reports. The debt was provided by the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank and the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), adds Buenos Aires Herald.

The South American nation seeks to use the proceeds to pay for infrastructure projects including railways, clean water and energy. Argentina has already secured a $2.02 billion loan from state-run Banco de la Nacion.
