Independence Blue Cross (IBC) has launched a foundation with an initial commitment of $10 million. The Independence Blue Cross Foundation has been set up to transform healthcare through innovation in the Philadelphia.

The new foundation will focus its expertise and resources on the region’s healthcare challenges. Lorina Marshall-Blake, vice president of community affairs at IBC, will be president of the foundation.
