Alan van Griethuysen has been named president of non-profit organization Association of Futures Markets (AFM). He is executive director regional business head for Asia and Benelux at the NYSE Euronext. With 31 members, AFM focuses on promoting and encouraging formation of new derivatives. It conducts international conferences, which fosters communication and strengthens information sharing among members.
