Standard & Poor’s has lowered the ratings on 14 classes from three commercial mortgage-backed securities because of interest shortfalls. The CMBS affected were issued in 2004, 2006 and 2007, with 13 of the 14 classes reduced to a D rating, S&P’s lowest. The credit rating agency predicted that interest shortfalls will continued for the foreseeable future.
