Rudin Management Co. and its partner Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings have acquired the nine-building St. Vincent’s hospital campus in Greenwich Village for $260 million, GlobeSt reports. The developers will donate the landmarked O’Toole building to North Shore/LIJ-Health System to develop a freestanding emergency and ambulatory surgery facility after final approvals.
North Shore-LIJ intends to invest $110 million for the redevelopment of the building into a center for comprehensive care. The plan also consists of a mixed-use residential development with seven buildings, a school and a park.
