Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has appointed Suresh Sadasivan as its new head of Asian equities. He is succeeding David Riddle, who will retire by the end of May 2011, after 14 years of service. In the new role, Sadasivan will be based in London and report to Ian King, head of international equities at LGIM. Sadasivan is joining the wholly-owned subsidiary of Legal & General from Old Mutual Asset Management, where he was head of emerging markets equities.
