Committed Advisors has closed its debut secondaries fund at €257 million. The Paris-based private equity firm initially had sought to raise €200-250 million for the fund. Investors in the fund included endowments, family offices, financial institutions and high net-worth individuals.
The Committed Advisors Secondary Fund I will invest in mature private equity assets in North America, Europe and Asia in the small and midsized segments of the private equity secondary market. The vehicle, which focuses on buy-out and growth equity assets, has already closed eight transactions since launch in August 2010, with two more pending.
