Huntsman Gay Global Capital has bought a stake in Sydney-based pizza-maker MaMa Rosa’s Pizza, Business Journal reports. The private equity firm has not disclosed the financial details of the transaction. Huntsman has used its debut $1.1 billion fund to buy the company. The majority stake was sold by several Kansas City-based private equity firms. In 2006, Prairie Village-based Plaza Belmont Fund II along with several other local firms invested in the pizza maker.
