U.S. global asset management firm, AllianceBernstein, has launched a new flexible equity portfolio, Investment Week reports. The European Flexible Equity fund is a Ucits III absolute return strategy, designed to adjust its equity market exposure using derivatives to preserve capital. Michele Patri, Chad Gex and William Johnston are the managers of the new fund. The flexible equity fund will primarily invest in European equities and be benchmark-agnostic and have the ability to exploit both short- and long-term opportunities.
