Florida State Names Sr Investment Officers

Tallahassee-based Florida State Board of Administration has appointed Kathryn Wojciechowski and Steve Spook as senior investment officers.

Tallahassee-based Florida State Board of Administration has appointed Kathryn Wojciechowski and Steve Spook as senior investment officers, Pensions & Investments reports. Wojciechowski will be with fixed income, which has $30 billion in assets, whereas Spook will serve with real estate, having $8.4 billion in assets.

The duo succeeds Robert Smith and Doug Bennett, respectively, and will be reporting to Kevin SigRist, deputy executive director. Most recently, Wojciechowski was senior portfolio manager of short-term portfolio management at the board, having $19 billion in assets and mortgage-backed securities analysis, whereas Spook was senior portfolio manager-principal investments.
