Greg McGreevey is quitting as president of Hartford Investment Management Co., provider of investment management services, and as executive vice president and CIO of Hartford Financial Services Group, provider of insurance and wealth management services. McGreevey is leaving at the month-end for a global investment management firm, adds Pensions & Investments.
Hugh Whelan has been named as acting head of Hartford Investment. Whelan, who is also managing director and head of investments at the company, will work under the company’s chairman, president and CEO Liam McGee. Before that, he was head of Quantitative Equities at ING.
