UAE-based oil rig engineer, Lamprell, is in talks to acquire Norway’s Maritime Industrial Services (MIS), Financial Times reports. The London Stock Exchange-listed company has offered around $330 million for the acquisition. Lamprell seeks to fund the offer from an issue of equity to its shareholders and new debt facilities. The company currently has no debt and had $210.2 million cash at the end of last year, adds The Wall Street Journal.
