Chi-X Europe’s trading volumes for the fourth-quarter last year increased by 36%, Bloomberg reports. The London-based alternative trading system reported trades of over €1.6 trillion in 2010.
The number of trades on its markets increased to 63 million from 46.3 million in 2009. The value of trades in the last quarter increased from €277.4 billion in 2009 to €367.8 billion in 2010.
