The five endowment funds of the University of Texas have reported a 20% return for the year that ended on June 30, 2011, Pensions & Investments reports. The endowment funds also reported returns of about 17% for the fiscal year to date. The funds had $20.3 billion in assets as of May 31, 2011. The funds are managed by University of Texas Investment Management.
