DFJ Gotham Ventures has appointed Joy Marcus as its new venture partner. Joy will be responsible for evaluating prospective investments and working with existing portfolio companies on strategy and business development.

She is joining the New York-based venture capital firm from Dailymotion, where she was general manager. Prior to this, she has also been associated with Time Warner, Barnes&Noble.com and MTV Networks.
