Citi has established a new division for quantitative investment strategies, Financial Times reports. Citi Investment Strategies (CIS), a part of Citi’s global multi-asset group, will unveil a product to engage with persistent volatility in global markets. The business will work on the development and commercialization of algorithmic investment strategies.
The group consists of a team of 12 professionals, led by Emanuele Di Stefano, with the core team based in London and local strategists in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The multi-client and multi-product approach of the unit will provide investment solutions to all types of investors.
