A common cross-border order routing and trading platform comprising seven stock exchanges Asean Trading Link will be operational from June, TODAYonline reports. The platform will link Kuala Lumpur’s Bursa Malaysia and the Singapore Exchange in June, followed by the Stock Exchange of Thailand connecting in August.
The three exchanges account for some 70 percent of the entire market capitalization of the seven-member joint venture. Bourses in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and in the Philippines and Indonesia are also to connect to the network eventually.
