New Jersey–based merchant bank Point Capital Partners is preparing to float its first hedge fund, Point Capital Aligned Wealth Fund Advisors, HFMWeek reports. The product will be rolled out by former Stadia Capital co-founders John Fleming and Richard Swift.

The offering is planned to be launched on January 1. The vehicle uses a global long/short equity strategy, investing across mid-and large-cap financial and consumer companies but can look at all sectors.
