Spain’s Telefonica is seeking an initial public offering of its call centre services firm, Atento, Reuters reports. The broadband and telecom company has appointed Goldman Sachs to advice on the listing.

Atento, which operates in 17 countries handling sales calls in Spanish and Portuguese for outside customers, is valued by analysts at about €1.3-2 billion. Telefonica originally planned to list Atento in 2007.
