Egypt’s central bank has raised $1.089 billion through a sale of domestic Treasury bills (T-bills), Economic Times reports. The T-bills were sold in two parts. The first tranche of $502.84 million notes will mature in 91 days. The second tranche of $586.65 million notes, maturing in 266 days, was sold at a yield of 13.830 percent.
