Indian Oil has selected a consortium of three lenders to raise $500 million in an offshore issue of bonds, Reuters reports. The oil refiner and retailer has appointed BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Scotland and Citigroup for the sale. The securities to be sold by the company will mature in 2021. Indian Oil will use the proceeds from the offering to fund its Paradip refinery project.
