Boston-based global investment manager Pioneer Investments has expanded its newly created emerging-markets unit in London with the appointments of Sean Taylor and Fabiana Fedeli, Citywire reports. The firm has hired Taylor as head of global emerging markets equity and Fedeli as senior manager for Asian equity. The appointments are part of the firm’s initiative to build a strong and experienced emerging-markets team in London.
Taylor was formerly investment director at GAM, provider of active investment management to private clients, institutions and intermediaries. Fedeli will be reporting to Pioneer’s head of Asia equity Angelo Corbetta. She comes to the firm from emerging-markets manager Occam Asset Management, where she co-managed an Asia ex-Japan fund.
