Mizuho Securities has appointed Tom Monaco to perform equity research into Asian financial and bank stocks, Asian Investor reports. In the new role, he will work under Chris Calderwood.
Most recently, he was working with FrontPoint on the FrontPoint Financial Services Fund. Prior to FrontPoint, he also served as a stock analyst specializing in banks at a number of firms in Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York, including Bear Stearns and Keefe Bruyette & Woods.
