BBVA Banco Frances is seeking to raise a maximum of $250 million in a sale of notes, The Wall Street Journal reports. The offer is part of a bigger bond program of nearly $500 million. Spanish lender Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) owns a stake in Banco Frances. The lender is among Argentina’s top five biggest banks.
