U.S. private equity firms, Bain Capital and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), are among potential buyers for Emergency Medical Services, Reuters reports. A group of four private equity firms made it to the second round of bidding for the healthcare transportation services provider. The company, which was reviewing its strategic alternatives, had appointed advisors to weigh options, including a possible sale. Potential bidders had been asked to re-submit offers.
