London-based F&C Investments has hired Peter Svoboda as a product specialist for its emerging market debt (EMD) team. Svoboda will be reporting to head of emerging market debt Jonathan Mann. He will be joining F&C in November from Austrian financial firm Erste Group. He has also been fund manager at Raiffeisen KAG and head of bonds Central and Eastern Europe at Generali Portfolio Management.
