Global financial information services company Markit has selected end-to-end corporate actions automation provider XSP’s latest Headline Indices functionality. Markit currently uses the XSP v5 platform to provide buy- and sell-side firms with daily calculations for a number of index services. The new functionality will enable Markit to utilize its clients’ portfolios of securities throughout their lifecycle through the XSP v5 workflow.
Markit has extended its contract of the XSP v5 platform by licensing the Headline Indices functionality. This will allow the London-based core data team to prioritize and filter its workload more effectively, improving the level of service provided to the internal index management business groups, which will easily be able to question their own bespoke universe of securities.
