International financial conglomerate Citigroup has appointed Sean Kavanagh as head of credit portfolio management effective early next year, Risk.net reports. Based in New York, he will be reporting to Michael Roberts, global head of corporate banking and capital management in Citi’s institutional clients group.

Most recently, Kavanagh was with financial services provider Deutsche Bank as head of the loan exposure management group (LEMG). Previously, he worked within Deutsche Bank’s U.S. credit trading operations and was the bank’s head of LEMG till April this year.
