Genstar Capital has appointed Paul Black as its operating executive. He will be part of the healthcare and information technology team at the California-based middle market private equity firm. Black will continue to be an advisor to New Mountain’s debt effort, Guardian, which was formed in 2008 to purchase debt securities. Currently, he also serves on the boards of Saepio, Connextions and is the board chair of Truman Medical Centers.
