SBI Mutual Fund has rolled out a closed-end capital-protection-oriented scheme, India Infoline reports. The SBI Capital Protection Oriented Fund - Series III aims to protect the capital invested on maturity of the scheme through investments in equity debt. It will also provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital. The three-year closed-end fund will allocate 82 percent to 100 percent of assets in debt and debt-related instruments as well as money market instruments with low- to medium-risk profile. The scheme is benchmarked against the Crisil MIP Blended Index and will be managed by Rajeev Radhakrishnan and Rama Iyer Srinivasan.
