Citigroup has recently recruited seven bankers as it looks to restart its exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) operations, Financial Times reports. It has poached the bankers from rivals, including four from JPMorgan, for the newly set up team of 26 in its “exchange-traded and OTC clearing” business.

Of the four bankers hired from JPMorgan, Conor Cunningham will manage the ETD business in Asia from Singapore and Chris Day will head origination Asia, based in Hong Kong. Ian Nissen will lead futures and prime finance sales in Australia.
