Fidelity fund manager, Sanjeev Shah, is increasing domestic large cap exposure in the £3 billion Special Situations Fund against overseas equities, What Investment reports. The preference of the fund portfolio has changed to have about 60% devoted to FTSE 100 companies. Shah has dedicated 20% of the portfolio in overseas companies, mainly European. He is also seeking to insure his portfolio against short-term market falls. Shah also continues to favor the financials sector.
