CommonWealth REIT, formerly known as HRPT Properties, will acquire the 233 N. Michigan tower In Chicago for $162.2 million.

CommonWealth REIT, formerly known as HRPT Properties, will acquire the 233 N. Michigan tower In Chicago for $162.2 million, GlobeSt reports. Parkway Properties is selling the tower. The building is 82% occupied with tenants, including Motorola, United Health, Clear Channel, Young & Rubicam and U.S. government offices. Mississippi-based Parkway is planning to repay an $84.6 million first mortgage.
