AdvisorShares Investments will launch the Active Bear ETF on Jan. 27, 2011. The portfolio will be run by investment manager, Ranger Alternative Management.
John Vecchio and Brad Lamensdorf have been named the primary managers to guide the fund’s strategy. A short-only large-cap domestic equity investment strategy will be used by utilizing a bottom-up, fundamental, research driven security selection process.
