Italian utility, Enel, is in talks to sell its Bulgarian thermal power plant, Reuters reports. It has been negotiating with U.S. fund, Contour Global, and Russia’s InterRAO for a possible deal. Enel has been in talks with Contour for five months, and expects to seal a deal soon. Lazard is acting as the advisor for Contour on the sale. In November, InterRAO offered to acquire Enel’s Bulgarian assets in exchange for some of its assets in Russia.
