Invesco Launches Three Canadian Funds

Invesco Trimark has launched three new funds designed to meet the evolving needs of Canadian investors.

Invesco Trimark has launched three new funds designed to meet the evolving needs of Canadian investors. The Bermuda-based independent investment manager has introduced the Invesco Emerging Markets Debt Fund that basically invests in local-currency-denominated debt issues of emerging market countries, while the Invesco Emerging Markets Class invests primarily in companies active in emerging markets.

The emerging market debt fund is led by Claudia Calich, head of emerging markets for Invesco Fixed Income and the portfolio manager of emerging market class fund is Ingrid Baker. The firm has also launched the Trimark Energy Class that invests majorly in global companies, which engage directly or indirectly in the energy sector. The energy class fund is managed by portfolio manager, Norman MacDonald.
