New York-based hedge fund Pine River Capital Management has appointed David Miller as managing director. In his new role, he will handle business development and strategic initiatives for Two Harbors Investment.
Miller joins from the U.S. Department of Treasury, where he served as CIO in for the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Prior to TARP, Miller managed an equity portfolio at hedge fund HBK Capital Management and has also served at Goldman Sachs.
