Onex and its affiliates have sold an about 31% stake in aircraft parts maker, Spirit AeroSystems Holdings. The companies issued 10 million shares raising about $245 million. Onex sold 2.7 million shares for $74 million. The underwriters have a 30 day option from April 11, 2011 to buy an additional 15% of the shares sold. The private investment firm currently holds a 16% stake in the company.
