Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) will sign a $1.1 billion contract with Indonesia to build submarines, Korea Times reports. The deal is expected to be completed by November.

The Korean shipbuilder will build three submarines for the Indonesian Navy. The company had been bidding for the contract against competitors from France, Russia and Germany.
