The Israeli government has sold a 5% stake in Bank Leumi Le Israel for $366 million to UBS, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Swiss bank is paying $4.77 per share and will redistribute the shares to mostly foreign investors.

The shares are being offered to nine foreign investment houses through a bidding process, adds Bloomberg. Following the sale, the government will retain a 6.46% stake in Bank Leumi.
