Carlyle may unveil a $750 million fund to invest in Africa, Financial Times reports. The planned fund will be managed by a team of three with a presence in Johannesburg, Zimbabwe and Nigeria. Carlyle already has a presence in North Africa, along with a dedicated private equity fund for the Middle East and North Africa. Currently, Carlyle has $150 billion of total assets under management, direct and indirect.
