Leonard Green & Partners is seeking to acquire BJ’s Wholesale Club, The Wall Street Journal reports. The California-based private equity firm already has a 9.3% stake in the warehouse club chain. The Massachusetts-based company has entered an agreement with Leonard Green that will allow the firm to review its books. Bain Capital may also be interested in acquiring BJ’s.
